A well-established and forward-thinking law firm in Leicester with a strong reputation across both commercial and private client services. The firm is continuing to invest in its Employment practice and is now seeking a Junior Partner to play a key role in its ongoing growth and leadership.

The Opportunity

This is a standout opportunity for a Senior Associate, Team Leader, or existing Junior Partner ready to step into (or continue within) a partnership-level role. You will take ownership of a growing Employment offering, working closely with senior leadership to shape strategy, drive revenue, and lead the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the Employment team

• Managing a complex caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters

• Advising on:

  • Unfair dismissal

  • Discrimination and whistleblowing

  • Redundancy and restructuring

  • Senior exits and settlement agreements

• Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings

• Driving business development, networking, and client acquisition

• Contributing to the firm’s strategic direction and growth plans

• Mentoring and developing junior team members

About You

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)

• Typically 6+ years’ PQE in Employment Law

• Currently operating at Senior Associate / Team Leader / Junior Partner level

• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management

• Strong leadership capability with experience managing or mentoring teams

• Commercially astute with an interest in contributing at partnership level
