Employment Associate - 1-3 years' PQE - Belfast

A leading international law firm is looking to recruit an ambitious Employment Associate to join its highly regarded Employment team in Belfast.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior employment lawyer to join a market-leading practice advising major UK and international organisations on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The Role

Working as part of a nationally recognised Employment practice, you'll advise a diverse client base that includes multinational businesses, financial institutions and major employers across a variety of sectors.

Your work will include:

• Advising on day-to-day employment law issues and complex workplace matters.

• Managing and supporting Employment Tribunal litigation.

• Advising on restructurings, redundancies and business change projects.

• Supporting clients on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, outsourcing and organisational change.

• Assisting with senior executive matters, including recruitment, exits, restrictive covenants and incentive arrangements.

• Working on cross-border employment issues alongside colleagues across the firm's international network.

• Building strong client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

The role offers exposure to sophisticated, commercially focused work, including strategic advisory projects and high-profile disputes.

About You

You'll be a qualified solicitor with between 1 and 3 years' PQE and experience gained within a commercial employment team.

You'll also have:

• Solid technical knowledge of employment law.

• Experience advising employers on both contentious and non-contentious matters.

• Exposure to Employment Tribunal proceedings and workplace investigations.

• Excellent drafting and communication skills.

• A commercial, pragmatic approach to client service.

• The ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively within a national team.

Experience of corporate support, outsourcing, cross-border matters or High Court litigation would be advantageous but is not essential.
