Costs Draftsman (Fully Remote)

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Costs Draftsman to join a growing and dynamic legal costs team. This fully remote role offers the chance to work on a varied caseload of costs matters while enjoying flexibility and autonomy within a supportive environment.
The Role
Preparing and drafting Bills of Costs across a range of matters
Handling budgeting, costs estimates, and Points of Dispute/Reply
Managing cases through the costs recovery process
Attending Detailed Assessment Hearings where required
Liaising with fee earners, clients, and external stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with CPR and costs protocols
Managing your own caseload efficiently and meeting deadlines
About You
Proven experience as a Costs Draftsman / Costs Lawyer
Strong knowledge of CPR and costs procedures
Experience drafting high-quality Bills of Costs and budgets
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication and time management skills
Proficient in relevant costs software and Microsoft Office
