Costs Draftsperson – PI & Clinical Negligence North West- Fully Remote

We are working on behalf of a highly reputable and well-established costs firm that is seeking to recruit an experienced Costs Draftsperson to support its continued growth. The firm is looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience dealing with Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence costs matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied and high-quality caseload within a supportive and professional environment. Experience handling complex cases would be a distinct advantage, although strong core experience is essential.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of costs matters, producing work to a high technical standard and supporting clients throughout the costs process.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting bills of costs in PI and Clinical Negligence matters

• Preparing Points of Dispute and Replies

• Dealing with negotiations and associated correspondence

• Advising on costs issues and strategy

• Assisting with more complex or high-value matters where required

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Costs Draftsperson

• Solid background in PI and Clinical Negligence costs

• Experience of complex cases is advantageous

• Strong technical knowledge of costs law and procedure

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to manage a caseload independently
