IP/Trademark Paralegal - London

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced IP Trade Mark Paralegal to join a successful and expanding Intellectual Property practice in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled IP professional to become part of a collaborative team, supporting a broad range of high-quality trade mark work for UK and international clients. The role offers exposure to complex matters across multiple jurisdictions and the opportunity to work alongside experienced Trade Mark Attorneys in a progressive and supportive environment.

The Role

You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of trade mark services, with responsibilities including:

• Preparing and filing UK, EU and international trade mark applications.

• Assisting Trade Mark Attorneys across a wide variety of matters.

• Managing the full trade mark lifecycle, including reviewing, processing and reporting on applications.

• Liaising with clients, internal teams, fee earners and overseas agents.

• Preparing and filing registered design applications in the UK and internationally.

• Preparing cost estimates and supporting billing processes.

• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal IP management systems.

• Providing additional administrative support to the wider team where required.

About You

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented IP Trade Mark Paralegal who enjoys working in a busy, client-focused environment.

You will ideally have:

• At least five years' experience in a trade mark paralegal or similar IP support role.

• Strong knowledge of UK, EU and international trade mark procedures.

• Experience managing your own caseload and prioritising competing deadlines.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.

• A proactive approach and commitment to delivering a high standard of client service.

• Completion of the CITMA Paralegal Course (essential).

The Team

You will join a specialist Intellectual Property practice supporting clients ranging from entrepreneurial businesses and start-ups through to established companies and international organisations.

The team advises clients across a wide range of sectors on all aspects of trade mark protection and strategy, including clearance searches, applications, portfolio management, oppositions, cancellations, negotiations and broader IP advice.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced professionals in a team that values collaboration, technical excellence and delivering practical solutions for clients.
