Clinical Negligence Senior Associate

We are proud to be partnering with an established law firm with a strong clinical negligence practice, which is looking to appoint an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor at Senior Associate or Partner level to join its growing team in the East Midlands.

This is an opportunity to work on high-quality, complex and high-value clinical negligence claims, representing individuals and families whose lives have been affected by serious medical errors.

The Opportunity

You will handle a varied caseload covering complex clinical negligence, birth injury, surgical negligence, misdiagnosis, fatal claims and inquests, working closely with leading medical experts and Counsel.

You will benefit from working alongside experienced clinical negligence lawyers who have received industry recognition and professional accolades for their expertise, providing an excellent opportunity to work within a team of highly capable practitioners and further develop your own expertise.

About You

We are looking for an experienced claimant clinical negligence solicitor with strong technical ability and experience managing complex claims with a high degree of autonomy.

You will be an England & Wales qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate and will have:

• Strong claimant clinical negligence experience

• Experience of complex and high-value claims

• Excellent client care, drafting and negotiation skills

• Experience working with experts and Counsel

• Ideally, experience of fatal claims and/or inquests

• A strong interest in business development and building professional relationships
